講義の概要	To introduce and develop students basic skills for academic writing in English. The course will focus on how to write research papers about the students' specialty in English. (Key Words for Course: Technical English, Science and Technology, English Writing, EAP (English for Academic Purpose))
到達目標	To improve each students written abilities. Upon successful completion, each student should be able to write well organized short essays.

評価方法及び 合格基準	Students are required to submit some reports about their specialized field regularly. Passing grade for the course is 60%. Students who miss regular reports will be given a mark of zero.
学生へのメッセージ、 予習・復習について	This class primarily focused on how to write research papers. Success therefore depends on regular attendance, participation in class, and writing many reports in English actively. Lectures are given mainly in English.
